Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Machine Lead to oversee weekly production planning, manage machine coordinators, and troubleshoot equipment. This day-shift role runs from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM with Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays off.

The position emphasizes safety, team leadership, and minimizing downtime while coordinating with maintenance. No travel is required, and a strong focus is placed on reliable production output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience working in production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Always keeps safety first while using all equipment.
• Leads and directs machine operator teams while prioritizing workload daily.
• Prioritizes daily production on the equipment to reduce downtime and changeovers.
• Uses production knowledge to ensure optimal equipment usage and output.
• Trains machine operators on equipment usage and data reporting.
• Follows SOPs and best practices and coordinates with maintenance when needed.
• Performs inspections, cleaning, and sanitization of equipment regularly.
