Job summary

Opella Healthcare Group in the United States is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Plant Manager in delivering benchmark results with emphasis on OEE, quality, material utilization, scrap, and cost. You will own daily huddles and drive loss-elimination action plans while guiding the OEE group across all process centers to sustain continuous improvement.

This is a 1st shift position (Mon-Fri 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science discipline preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing of pharmaceuticals or food and beverage industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defect handling and ownership; identify root causes of defects and drive elimination of causes.
• Centerline ownership; develop team capability to execute Centerline standards and track/process measures.
• Quality ownership; track, report Centerline metrics and coach results; support action plans.
• Process reliability support; monitor OEE, uptime, downtime, changeovers, and scrap; analyze variances and coach improvements.
• Provide technical coaching during work center issue resolution; perform Root Cause analyses and Kaizen execution.
