Job summary

Opella is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Plant Manager in delivering benchmark results focusing on OEE, quality, material utilization, scrap, and cost. This is a 1st shift role, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with ownership for daily huddles and loss elimination plans.

You will drive root cause analysis, develop centerline standards, coach teams, and provide technical support across process centers to improve performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science discipline preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing of pharmaceuticals or food and beverage industries preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Plant Manager in delivering benchmark results on OEE and quality.
• Own daily QDCI huddles and loss elimination action plans.
• Analyze process data to drive scrap reduction and cost improvements.
• Provide technical coaching and Kaizen support to teams.
• Interface with Product Development to ensure startup criteria are met.
