Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Pouch Machine Operator for the full-time 3rd shift (Zone B, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM) to run pouch and filling equipment safely while upholding quality and cleanliness.

You will operate equipment such as W25-1/2, Cryovac, L24, and BIB, load film carts, perform lockout/tagout, adjust weights, complete production paperwork, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Pay is $25.19 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months of manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Ability to read instructions, labels, and production paperwork.
• Basic math skills for weights and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 7+ hours.
• Ability to work in wet, cold, humid, or noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate pouch machines and related equipment (W25-1 & 2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, fillers).
• Load film carts and install film rolls.
• Perform lockout/tagout and follow all safety and food safety procedures.
• Adjust weights and settings to maintain product specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Complete production paperwork, downtime logs, and metal detection records.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment (CIP/COP).
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
