Job summary

Golden State Foods – Conyers, GA is hiring a Pouch Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 pm-7:00 am). The role requires operating pouch equipment safely, loading film, and maintaining product quality and cleanliness.

Pay is $25.19 per hour and full-time hours are available in a wet, cold, and noisy production environment. Required: HS diploma or GED and 1–3 months of manufacturing or machine operation experience; ability to read instructions and perform basic math; able to lift 50 lbs and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 months of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Ability to read instructions, labels and production paperwork.
Basic math skills for weights and measurements.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 7+ hours.

Responsibilities

Operate pouch machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Load film carts and install film rolls correctly.
Follow safety and food safety procedures and perform lockout/tagout as required.
Adjust weights and settings to meet product specifications.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and document downtime.
Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment (CIP/COP).
Maintain clean and safe work areas and complete production paperwork.
