Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Compounder for the day shift (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM). The role focuses on precise batching of ingredients, following formulas, and maintaining a clean, safe work area to ensure high-quality, traceable product output.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience. The job involves lifting up to 100 lbs, operating basic processing equipment, and adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare batches by following formulas, batch cards, and product specifications.
• Verify ingredients and complete paperwork for quality and traceability.
• Follow food safety, allergen, and sanitation procedures to meet standards.
• Operate processing equipment and perform basic setup for production runs.
• Clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment to keep area production-ready.
• Wear PPE and follow safety requirements.
