Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1127 South Fremont Avenue Unit C Alhambra, CA 91803. Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and CA CPT license. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CA CPT phlebotomy license required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
