Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document, and label drug products under direct supervision. You will perform data entry, assist with drug purchasing, and support inventory control within the Pharmacy Department.

The role requires at least one year of full-time Pharmacy Technician experience, strong English communication, and licensure or intern registration with the California Board of Pharmacy. Prior IV admixture experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum one year full-time relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.

Responsibilities

Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist.
Perform data entry and filing associated with the process and handle drug purchasing and inventory control procedures.
Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs and collect data for workload measurements.
