Job summary

Minimum one year of full-time Pharmacy Technician experience is required, along with a California Pharmacy Technician registration or Pharmacy Intern certificate and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year full-time relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• 1+ year experience in admixing chemotherapy drugs.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Must be able to demonstrate proper aseptic techniques.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Perform data entry and filing related to the process and handling drug purchasing and inventory control procedures.
• Participate in Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs and collect workload data as required.
• Support Pharmacy operations and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
