Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Two years' experience in acute or long-term care preferred.
• Completion of approved CNA/PCT or paramedic certification, or current enrollment in nursing school.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, eating) under supervision.
• Observe patients’ progress and relay reports to RN or medical staff.
• Obtain and record vital signs; collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure and record intake/output; assist with range of motion; draw blood.
