Job summary

Ardent in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical Surgical Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily activities, recording vitals, collecting specimens, and collaborating with nursing staff to support quality care. Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, BLS within 14 days, and relevant certification or nursing studies in progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• CNA, PCT or paramedic certification preferred or ongoing nursing studies.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observes patients’ progress to report to RN or medical staff.
• Obtains and records vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
• Provides basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measures intake and output, assists with ROM, and venipuncture when needed.
