Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ, seeks a CNA for our Ortho MedSurg unit. You will join a 28-bed specialty unit caring for musculoskeletal and post-surgical patients, with teamwork and ongoing education support.

The role offers a DAY shift from 6:00am to 6:30pm, rotating weekends/holidays and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for licensed CNAs. You will participate in vital data collection, help with activities of daily living, and maintain patient records in the EMR, while providing

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and current CNA license.
Current BLS certification and CNA in state of practice required.
Strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Responsibilities

Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support the plan of care.
Collect vital signs, input/output, and other data; document in medical records.
Assist with activities of daily living and mobility, including nutrition support.
Transcribe and process physician orders in the EMR under supervision.
Maintain supplies, chart forms, and patient education materials.
Support unit operations and receptionist/clerical duties as needed.
Assist with pre/post-operative patient transport and OR turnover.
Recognize changes in patient condition and report to licensed staff.
Ensure patient records are complete and securely filed.
