Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ seeks a CNA to provide routine patient care on the 28-bed Ortho MedSurg unit. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, manage supplies, and support documentation in the EMR, under supervision. The role includes a rotating weekend/holiday schedule and shift differentials.

We welcome licensed CNAs/LNAs to join a unit focused on orthopedics and general medical-surgical patients, with opportunities for ongoing education and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• In Tucson: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required for new hires.
• Requires 1 year of medical clerical or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and nutrition.
• Record vital signs and document patient data in the EMR.
• Communicate changes in patient status to licensed staff.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative transport and care as needed.
• Support unit operations with clerical tasks and supply management.
