Job summary

Lynx EMS in Ohio is seeking an experienced Paramedic for the day shift to lead clinical care on our busy unit. You will deliver ALS under medical direction, assess patients, administer meds, and guide EMT partners to ensure coordinated, high-quality transport to hospitals and facilities.

As the clinical lead, you will maintain ambulance readiness, perform accurate documentation, communicate with dispatch and hospital staff, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Paramedic certification or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Ability to lead EMT partners and coordinate care.
• Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability for scheduled day shift operations and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide ALS interventions per Ohio protocols and medical direction.
• Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform advanced procedures within scope of practice.
• Lead and support EMT partners for coordinated patient care.
• Operate and maintain assigned ambulance and medical equipment.
• Document patient care reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and inspection-ready unit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospital staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Uphold safety standards and regulatory requirements.
