Lynx EMS is seeking a seasoned Paramedic for Day Shift to lead the clinical team during high-volume daytime operations across our West Virginia service area. You will perform rapid patient assessments, administer ALS interventions, and guide EMT partners while ensuring protocol compliance and high-quality documentation.

The role emphasizes strong clinical judgment, effective communication, reliability, and leadership in dynamic transport, hospital transfers, and interfacility coordination.

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic certification and eligibility for reciprocity where applicable.
• Proven ability to lead ALS care and supervise EMT partners.
• Strong decision-making, communication, and teamwork in fast-paced settings.

Responsabilités

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide ALS interventions per state protocols and medical direction.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform advanced procedures within scope of practice.
• Lead and support EMT partners to ensure coordinated, efficient patient care.
• Safely operate and maintain assigned ambulance and equipment.
• Ensure accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of patient care reports.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and inspection-ready unit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospital staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Uphold safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
