Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department is preferred, with knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment and Microsoft Office; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or over the phone in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer telephones promptly and transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Process calls and route to the right provider or staff member.
• Schedule patient appointments according to department protocols to maximize productivity.
