Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in Waterbury is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Representative to join our Cardiology team. You will manage patient flow, greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle registrations and billing support.

Responsibilities include front-desk duties, guiding calls to the right staff, scheduling per department protocols, and ensuring accurate patient information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills; proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office. Accuracy and dependability required.

Responsabilités

• Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones promptly and directs calls to the appropriate staff member.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
