Job summary

Trinity Health’s Neurology Practice in Middlebury is seeking a Medical Receptionist/Business Services Representative to warmly welcome patients and coordinate front-desk activities. You will manage appointment scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and collect copays at the time of service.

You’ll also assist with pre-authorizations, referrals, and chart preparation to support efficient visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills.
• Requires proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment and Microsoft Office products.
• Accuracy and dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with patients in person or by phone in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answer phones in a timely and professional manner using appropriate scripting.
• Direct calls to the appropriate staff member or provider as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments based on department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
