Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Rep to join our Primary Care team in Canton. You will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, register patients, verify insurance, collect copays, handle pre-authorizations, referrals, chart prep, and manage faxes, providing clerical support to providers and staff.

Day shift, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits effective day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office or billing dept preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or by phone in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answer phones promptly using appropriate scripting.
• Route calls to the correct staff member or provider.
• Schedule patient appointments following department protocols.
