Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Rep to join our team in Connecticut. The role focuses on managing patient flow and essential front desk functions.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient registration, insurance verification, copay collections, pre-authorizations, referrals, chart prep, and fax management. Excellent customer service and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office or billing preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Strong keyboard skills and proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with patients in person or by phone in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answer phones promptly and direct calls to the appropriate staff or provider.
• Process calls and transfers to the right staff.
• Schedule patient appointments following department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
