Lexington Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for the Day Shift at the New Northeast Emergency Department. The MLS will provide in-patient and out-patient lab services, perform routine and specialized testing, and ensure accuracy to support patient care.

This position operates 7:00am–7:00pm within a dynamic emergency department setting. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in MLS or MLS registry eligibility with certification within one year, plus active MT/MLS certification or

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required or registry-eligible with MT/MLS certification within one year.
• Active MT/MLS certification by ASCP or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with both routine and automated lab testing is expected.
• Strong attention to quality control and safety protocols.

• Perform manual and automated laboratory tests ensuring accuracy and timely results.
• Collect specimens including venipunctures as required by department.
• Maintain instrument calibration and quality control results.
• Document data and communicate critical results to the team.
