Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking an entry-level production operator to set up and run a variety of equipment, including grinding and straightening machines, following standard procedures and schedules.

You will monitor automated processes, perform quality checks with micrometers and charts, maintain accurate production records, and uphold safety rules on a Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm shift; the role includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of precision measurement with micrometers.
• Prefer 1-2 years manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment including Gardner Grinding, roll straighteners, and furnaces following standard procedures.
• Read daily plan and instructions and maintain production records.
• Monitor and adjust equipment, check coil tags, and perform quality checks.
• Observe safety rules and report hazards.

Skills

1-2 years experience preferred
