Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking a Kesel Milling Operator to set up and operate CNC milling machines, milling teeth on carbon steel and bi-metal backing materials. You will ensure precision with close tolerances and maintain machine condition, reporting any issues to supervision.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with micrometers and measurements, and a High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
• Ability to use numbers including decimals.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic milling/CNC milling machines to mill teeth on carbon steel.
• Ensure close tolerances and check coils and coil tags for records.
• Replace cutters after grind and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Report material defects or equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.
