MMS is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate for our Goodfield, IL campus on the day shift. The role offers hands-on maintenance work on industrial equipment, with on‑the‑job training and growth opportunities.

You will learn mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support repairs alongside experienced technicians to keep production running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments.
• Learn troubleshooting techniques alongside experienced technicians.
• Support equipment installations and machine upgrades.
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with repairs.
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and maintenance records.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards.
