Job summary

Shaw Industries in Chickamauga, GA is seeking a Maintenance Tech Lead for the Day Shift to join the manufacturing leadership team. You will provide hands-on leadership, coordinate maintenance activities, and support the Maintenance Supervisor to keep production running reliably and safely.

This role requires strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting, a track record of guiding technicians, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in equipment reliability and productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience leading maintenance teams or supervising staff.
• Technical education in related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Coach and guide maintenance technicians, provide technical direction.
• Oversee work-order planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Promote safety, ensure PPE use and adherence to safety policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and productivity.
