Job summary

Shaw Industries in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Tech Lead for the Day Shift (1st shift, 7AM-3PM) to join the maintenance leadership team. This hands-on role supports the Maintenance Supervisor, leads technicians, and coordinates daily activities in a manufacturing environment.

You will oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment upgrades, mentor staff, schedule work orders, monitor quality, and promote a strong safety culture to improve uptime and productivity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience leading or mentoring maintenance staff.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations in absence of supervisor.
• Provide direction and coaching to technicians.
• Support employee development through training and mentoring.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to meet production goals.
• Oversee troubleshooting, repair and installation of equipment.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with regulations.
