Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician B for our Chickamauga, GA facility. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting quality.

You will work with a collaborative team to troubleshoot, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and assist with equipment installations and improvements. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with CMMS, and a safety-first mindset, including LOTO and PPE

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS and documentation of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, pulleys, belts, motors and gearboxes.
• Service conveyance systems, piping, and utilities (steam, air, water).
• Use preventive and predictive maintenance techniques to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams and mentor junior technicians.
