Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a hardworking Machine Operator I to set up and operate heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will perform cutting, punching, forming, blocking and processing operations while following safety and quality standards to produce finished parts.

Day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates should be able to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and operate equipment and controls.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
• Follow safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment.
• Use quality measurement devices such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.
