Job summary

Maple Leaf Farms is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to maintain and repair production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and read mechanical diagrams and schematics to ensure optimal operation.

The role requires strong mechanical maintenance knowledge, basic computer skills, and the ability to maintain accurate CMMS records while collaborating with production teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills; PLC experience helpful.
• Reading mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Basic computer literacy and CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery (belts, chains, electrical systems).
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues (including 480V/120V).
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair.
• Read diagrams and schematics; maintain CMMS records.
• Communicate with production teams and leadership; order parts as needed.
