Job summary

Littfin Truss is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machinery and production equipment. Responsibilities include following preventive maintenance programs, recording work in CMMS, and assisting with equipment installations and removals.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, self-direction, and ability to multi-task; safety is emphasized. The plant collaborates across teams to prioritize needs and ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in technical field (Mechanics preferred) or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems skills required; welding and metal fabrication skills preferred.
• Must be self-directed, able to multi-task, with problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, tools and production machines and equipment.
• Ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed on all pieces of equipment and records results and parts usage in a computerized maintenance management system.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and replaces defective parts; may recommend equipment replacement if wear poses safety or reliability concerns.
• Observes and enforces safety procedures while working around machinery and equipment.
• Supports installation of new manufacturing and office equipment or removal of old equipment.
• Utilizes database user interface, query and industrial control software.
• Completes tasks related to maintenance and service of building systems.
• Collaborates with plant operations to identify maintenance needs and provides reports to management.
• Maintains all traffic areas from snow and debris; participates on work teams.

• Provide support for the installation of new manufacturing and office equipment or the removal of old equipment.

• Complete tasks relating to the maintenance and service of all building systems.
• Collaborate with plant operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and provide necessary reporting on equipment and building systems maintenance to management.
• Maintain all traffic areas from snow and any other debris.
• Be an active participant on work teams.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in technical field (Mechanics preferred) or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems skills required. Welding and metal fabrication skills preferred.
• Must be self-directed, ability to multi-task, effective problem solving, troubleshooting skills, and excellent verbal and written communication required.

Shift Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 5:00am-3pm. Overtime as required on Friday: 5:00am-3:00pm

Salary Range:

$30.00/hour - $34.00/hour
