Job summary

UMass Memorial Medical Group, Inc. in Hopkinton, MA seeks a Medical Assistant II to support clinical and clerical functions in a fast-paced primary care setting. You will take vital signs, assist clinicians, and perform EKGs, phlebotomy and routine procedures under supervision.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, BLS certification, and an MA credential. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with a starting hourly range and potential signing bonus; location is Hopkinton Primary Care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS or Heart Saver certification from recognized bodies.
• Medical Assistant credential approved by MA Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vitals per protocol.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy and point-of-care tests as required.
• Prepare and administer injections within scope of practice.
• Assist in routine physical examinations and procedures.
• Maintain and document patient records and coordinate scheduling.
