Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide and coordinate nursing care for residents on site. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role involves medication administration, IV monitoring, EMR documentation, and supervising certified staff to uphold EverTrue standards of care. CPR certification is required, gerontological experience preferred, and some flexibility with

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in state of practice.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Gerontological nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within licensure and state Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to define care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor IVs and treatments.
• May initiate IV therapy if IV-certified.
• Maintain documentation and use EMR for patient records.
• Monitor resident status and coordinate with other services.
• Ensure safe, comfortable environment and report safety hazards.
• Supervise and direct certified staff to meet care standards.
• Support reporting of incidents per state and federal regulations.
