Job summary

Friends of Switchpoint is seeking a Shift Lead for the day shift (7 am–3 pm) on a full-time basis. You will supervise staff, create weekly schedules, and ensure coverage while maintaining a positive workflow aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• Experience working with clients in residential or service-oriented settings.
• Ability to lead a small team and coordinate daily tasks.
• Strong communication skills and calm decision-making in crises.
• Comfort with documentation and record-keeping responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand and uphold Friends of Switchpoint mission and policies.
• Provide exceptional service to residents and document daily occurrences.
• Create weekly team schedules and manage shift coverage.
• Address special needs (diet, ADA) and coordinate with management.
• Maintain maintenance and security logs; monitor activity and report concerns.
• Lead by example to ensure high-quality notes and staff conduct.
• Fill gaps by covering shifts and fostering teamwork.
• Assist employees in finding coverage and minimize overtime.
