BrightStar Care is hiring a Full-Time Day Shift Home Health Aide to provide one-on-one in-home care. You will assist with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. Day shifts run from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering stable full-time hours and the chance to build meaningful client relationships.

This role requires compassion, reliability, and strong communication as you support clients to maintain independence and quality of life at home.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Full-Time Day Shift Home Health Aide to join our team. In this one-on-one caregiving role, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting with personal cares, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. Day shifts are available between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, offering consistent full-time hours and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life. • Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
