Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Texas is seeking a reliable haul truck operator to move materials around the quarry site. You will perform pre-operational inspections, maintain safety protocols, and support production goals to maximize efficiency.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and clear communication with team members. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour DOE, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the quarry site.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and access mobile equipment safely and regularly.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating heavy equipment.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in varying environmental and weather conditions while maintaining situational awareness.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
