Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an experienced haul truck operator to safely transport aggregate materials within the quarry. You will perform pre-operational inspections, comply with safety procedures, and follow established traffic patterns to support production goals.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour DOE, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and paid leave.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• Operate off-road haul trucks to safely and efficiently transport aggregate materials throughout the quarry.
• Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow established safety procedures, traffic patterns, and operating guidelines at all times.
• Support production goals by transporting materials to designated loading, dumping, and processing areas.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and team members to maintain efficient operations.

Conditions of Employment

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands

• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and access equipment platforms; enter and exit haul unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods while operating and inspecting equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment components weighing up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual awareness.
