Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to support daily production at our Texas operations. You will load, move, and stockpile materials, conduct pre-operation inspections, and follow safety policies to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently to support daily production activities.
• Load, move, and stockpile materials according to operational requirements.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and maintain balance throughout the workday.

• Ability to regularly enter and exit heavy equipment using steps and handholds.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain visual awareness and depth perception required for safe equipment operation.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Starting Pay $26.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience)
