Valmont Industries in West Point, NE seeks a Production Shift Supervisor for the galvanizing department. You will supervise 20–30 shop personnel, manage material flow, monitor quality, and enforce safety standards while coordinating with maintenance and scheduling to meet production commitments.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in industrial supervisory roles, with strong leadership and computer skills in MS Office and relevant plant software.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have two years of supervisory or management experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee production and manage the galvanizing department workflow.
• Supervise a team of 20–30 employees including shop staff and crew leaders.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely production to meet schedules and customer commitments.
• Coordinate with maintenance, shipping/receiving, and scheduling to optimize line efficiency.
• Maintain performance records and implement process improvements as needed.
