Valmont Industries seeks a Shift Supervisor for the Global Coating Division in our Galvanizing facility. The role leading 10–20 production employees, supervising floor operations, and enforcing safety and quality standards to ensure optimal productivity.

Requirements include 2+ years in supervisory roles, ability to interpret safety docs, and strong communication and leadership skills. Preferred are a Bachelors or Associate degree plus MS Office skills. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory or management experience with strong leadership capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; able to interact positively with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, motivate and mentor 10–20 production employees on the Galvanizing floor.
• Assign stations and duties, schedule to maximize manpower and equipment utilization.
• Ensure quality checks and safety procedures are followed; promote continuous productivity improvement.
