Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Distribution Associate 2 for 1st shift to support order fulfillment through receiving, picking, packing and shipping of life science materials.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading freight, documenting movements, locating and moving materials, preparing shipments, auditing inventory, applying labels to comply with hazardous materials regulations, and collaborating with team leads to troubleshoot systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of fulfillment, customer service, or warehousing experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Proficiency with computers, scanners, printers, and shipping equipment.
• Experience following good distribution practices (GDP) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight.
• Operate equipment to produce documents for workload.
• Locate, move, deliver, or return materials to proper areas.
• Prepare materials for shipment.
• Accurately document all movement of materials.
• Audit inventory locations to maintain accuracy.
• Verify chemicals, catalog number, lot number, and weight against order docs.
• Print and apply labels to comply with hazardous materials regulations.
• Maintain warehouse areas.
• Work with team leads to troubleshoot system issues.
• Report unsafe hazards to management.
