Performance Food Group is hiring a Forklift Operator to ensure efficient flow of products in a multi-temperature warehouse environment. The role requires operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment, while maintaining safety and GMP standards.

You will support receiving, put-away, and stock replenishment tasks during shifts with overtime as needed. The position emphasizes reliability, adherence to safety policies, and accurate data entry for inventory control.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of warehouse/distribution work experience using a motorized pallet jack or stand-up forklift.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Mansioni

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Counts incoming freight in the staging area and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day work orders.
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front and removes outdated inventory per policy.
• Disposes of over-stocked items to available slots and inspects pallets for damage.
