Job summary

Americold Tampa is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products in a climate-controlled facility. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move goods accurately and efficiently.

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and up to 3 months of related work experience. This is a full-time, on-site role with a daytime shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and RF equipment.
• Stack, store, pick/assemble orders, and check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work area.
• Complete other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or battery changes as needed.
