Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an Excavator Operator to support daily production activities at our Texas site. You will load, move, and stockpile materials, perform pre-operation inspections, and follow safety policies and environmental regulations.

Teamwork and communication are essential to meet production goals. Starting pay is $26.00 per hour DOE, with a comprehensive benefits program including 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision, HSAs, life and disability

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently to support daily production activities.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and maintain balance throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently use hands and feet to operate equipment controls and perform inspections.
• Ability to regularly enter and exit heavy equipment using steps and handholds.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain visual awareness and depth perception required for safe equipment operation.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
