Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a dedicated Excavator Operator to support daily production by operating excavators safely, loading and stockpiling materials, and performing pre-operation inspections. You will follow all safety and environmental policies while collaborating with the team to meet production goals.

The role requires a strong safety mindset and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs in a fast-paced environment.

What Are We Looking For

Physical Demands

Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and maintain balance throughout the workday.

Ability to frequently use hands and feet to operate equipment controls and perform inspections.

Ability to regularly enter and exit heavy equipment using steps and handholds.

Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.

Ability to maintain visual awareness and depth perception required for safe equipment operation.

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Starting Pay $26.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience)
