The Arc of Ocean County seeks an experienced Direct Support Professional to assist adults with IDD across residential programs in Toms River, Barnegat, Lacey Township, and Brick, New Jersey. This full-time day-shift role emphasizes person-centered support, routines, and community participation.

Your DSP background and medical case management experience help recognize needs, communicate key information, and provide consistent support throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of prior Direct Support Professional experience.
• Medical case management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support in residential group homes, supervised apartments and supported living programs.
• Assist with personal care, meals, medication support, transportation, and daily living needs.
• Reinforce routines, skills and independence while tracking progress in ISPs.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure consistent support.
