Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Controls Technician for the southwest suburban Atlanta area. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and installing automated controls for production lines, building PLC panels, and programming/commissioning systems to run efficiently.

Candidates should have 6+ years of related experience, PLC programming skills, and the ability to configure machines from scratch. The job offers a day shift (7:00am–3:30pm), OT pay at time and a half, and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• Desire at least 6 years of related experience.
• PLC programming experience required.
• Ability to program a machine process from scratch.
• Familiarity with motors data plates and component specing.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, operate, maintain and troubleshoot controls and automated systems.
• Build PLC panels and program/commission equipment.
• Install pneumatics and hydraulics from schematics.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and robot controllers.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to meet output goals.
