Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.
• This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical support to residents for daily living activities (lifting, transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Observe and document residents' health, behavior, and condition; report changes to the nurse.
• Respond promptly to resident call signals and maintain safety practices in the environment.
• Communicate with nurses about resident conditions, changes and concerns.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide companionship, comfort and support to residents.
• Meet federal and state in-service requirements.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
