Job summary

Avamere Rehab of Oregon City is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time DAY shift, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, Fri–Mon, at 1400 Division St, Oregon City, OR 97045. The CNA provides routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident’s assessment and care plan, helping to maintain dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities include checking residents’ needs, reviewing care plans daily, informing the nurse supervisor of changes, assisting with activities and transportation,

Qualifications

• Must have a 10th grade education or above.
• Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

• Check residents’ personal care needs in accordance with the care plan.
• Review resident care plans daily to determine changes in routine.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of changes so the care plan can be updated.
• Assist residents with daily needs and transport to appointments.
• Create and uphold a warm, calm, and cheerful environment.
• Ensure rooms are ready for receiving residents and help them feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys and communicate essential information to nursing staff.
