Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer in Findlay, OH to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment. You will work Monday through Friday on a day shift as part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, focusing on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-the-spot repairs to keep critical operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred and licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Experience with building operations and safety standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• Ensure building systems meet applicable standards and client environmental conditions.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency.
• Lead preventive maintenance activities and respond to emergency repairs.
• Follow safety policies for hazardous materials storage and handling.
