Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of assembly experience.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
• Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
• Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a wide variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assembles product, parts, or materials using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, adhesives, and fasteners to standards.
• Operates assigned equipment or tools safely per safety programs and rules.
• Follows approved procedures and work instructions, reviewed on site.
• Monitors Quality Points at workstation and records data.
• Reports quality and production concerns to Supervisor.
• Cross trains on all work stations within department.
• Performs operator level preventive maintenance on tools, jigs and fixtures according to schedule.
• Keeps work environment neat and clean.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
